Men Arrested for Sapotaweyak Cree Nation Armed Robbery Appear in Court Again

Court appearances have been made by two men, arrested in connection with an armed robbery on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.

24-year-old Chandler Cook was in Dauphin yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded in custody to Monday, while 27-year-old Cheyenne Cook was in Swan River yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded to December 18.

On November 2, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a man who allegedly assaulted two men, and forced them to empty their pockets and turn over their cell phones at gunpoint.  

Three people were later arrested in a vehicle at the gas station in Mafeking.
