Country Music Legends: Who’s Ready for Their Own Eras Tour?

As Taylor Swift’s iconic Eras Tour has its final show in Vancouver this Sunday, it’s got me thinking: which country music star could host their own epic Eras Tour? Imagine 3 and a half hours of nonstop hits, over 40 songs each night, and fans gathering from all corners of the world! Here’s my top country artists who I think could totally pull it off:

5. Reba McEntire: The Queen of Country herself, Reba McEntire, would deliver nothing short of a legendary experience. Her powerful voice and timeless hits would make her Eras Tour a must-see for country fans everywhere. Just imagine the crowd belting out “Fancy” alongside her! I know she’s 69, but I still think she could do it.

4. Blake Shelton: Twelve studio albums filled with hits and fan-favorite deep cuts mean Blake Shelton has plenty of material to keep audiences entertained. Mix in his southern charm and you’ve got a recipe for a tour filled with laughter, sing-alongs, and pure country!

3. Keith Urban: With over 20 US #1s, Keith Urban would light up stages worldwide, especially in his home country of Australia. Plus, think about the surprise guests he could bring along! Have you seen how many celebs participated in the announcement video for his album High?! So many to choose from. Keith’s guitar skills and engaging performances would make for an unforgettable night.

2. Tim McGraw: With an impressive 49 #1 hits, Tim McGraw would have us singing along from the first note to the last. And if his amazing wife, Faith Hill, joins him for their timeless duets? You’d better believe those tickets would sell out in a heartbeat. Just picture the magic of “It’s Your Love” performed live!

1. Shania Twain: She’s the icon, and she’s the moment! Shania Twain has already proven her superstar status with her Come On Over Vegas residency. Can you imagine all that energy unleashed on a worldwide tour? Fans would be lining up to relive “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and all her other classics live.

Some honorable mentions:

  • Dolly Parton: If Dolly hadn’t retired from touring, she would’ve 100% made the list.
  • Alan Jackson: Same thing as Dolly, if he was still touring, it’d sell out so fast!
  • Morgan Wallen: Even though he’s got a lot of hits, he’s only had 3 albums and the Eras wouldn’t be as defined. The fanbase is definitely there though, so I think in about ten years he probably could do one.

These artists truly have what it takes to create a tour that captures the essence of their musical journeys, just like Taylor did with her Eras tour. Let me know who you think should’ve made the list!
