The Melville Millionaires of the SJHL have announced the acquisition of 19 year old netminder Ben Laurette from the Thunder Bay North Stars (SIJHL) for a player development fee.

The Calgary, Alberta product currently this season had a 10-3 record with a 2.69 goals against average, 0.921 save percentage and 1 shutout with the North Stars.

The Moneymen will return to action this weekend on the road for a couple games this weekend at the Whitney Forum starting on Friday against the Bombers starting at 7:30 PM.
