Another court appearance has been made by a man charged following an incident on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation earlier this year.
26-year-old Errol Leask was in Swan River yesterday (Wed) on multiple charges, and was remanded in custody to January 15.
On May 11, Swan River RCMP received reports of a man wielding a weapon and threatening people on the reserve, before the suspect allegedly took a family member’s vehicle, possibly hitting someone on an ATV.
Mounties located and tried to stop him, but he fled, driving recklessly, and after crashing the vehicle, he was apprehended with the help of community members.
