Ste Rose RCMP have a suspect in custody, in connection with a fatal incident Sunday, near the Ebb and Flow First Nation.

Mounties were called to the scene of an apparent shooting on Highway 278 near the reserve, at about 7:45 a.m., and upon arrival, officers and EMS personnel found an injured 34-year-old man lying bedside a truck.

The victim was taken to hospital in Dauphin, where he died of his injuries.

RCMP arrested a 53-year-old man for Murder at an Ebb and Flow residence, where he surrendered peacefully.
