🎄 Winter is here, and with it comes a sparkling season of wonder and delight! This year, the Yorkton Campground has transformed into a dazzling wonderland, adorned with twinkling Christmas lights that promise to captivate hearts and create cherished memories.
The Yorkton Lion’s Club has brought the Legacy Co-op Wonders of Winter to our town. There’s so many businesses that have sponsors trees and Christmas set ups to make the whole place beautiful. As the festive glow lights up the frosty evenings, it invites families and friends to step into a scene straight out of a holiday postcard. Imagine wandering through a forest of sparkling trees, each one uniquely decorated and glowing with the spirit of the season.
Reader, Grayson, Danny and I spent a few hours at the Wonders of Winter a few nights ago. We walked around, chatted the the volunteers, had too much fun fooling around with the lights, and handed out a lot of vintage GX94 Christmas Ornaments.
We even had some fantastic listeners bring us hot chocolate! I hope you head out to the Wonders of Winter this Christmas. They are open 5pm-10pm each night right up to News Year’s Eve. You can pay $25.00 at the gate or save yourself $5 and get your pass at any Legacy Co-op outlets. I hope the Legacy Co-op Wonders of Winter becomes a Yorkton tradition and the Yorkton Lion’s Club brings it back year after year, bigger and better each time.
So go on out and support this beautiful Christmas event. Let’s come together to celebrate the beauty of winter and the joy of community at Yorkton Campground. Here’s to a new tradition lighting up our hearts and our winters, year after year! 🌟❤️ -Tonya Cherry-
