A missing Birch River man has been safely located.

29-year-old Donovan McDonald was reported missing early Friday morning, after he was last seen Thursday afternoon, when he said he was going to walk to Nelson House, to visit his mother.

Late Friday night, Swan River RCMP say he was found safe and sound, and they thank the public for their assistance in locating him.
