Jail For A Man Who Pleaded Guilty In A Regina Homicide

Sentencing has been handed down to a Punnichy-area man, who pled guilty to Manslaughter last week at his trial in connection with a June 2019 death in Regina. Wednesday, 29-year-old Adam Taniskishayinew, who had originally been charged with Second Degree Murder, was given 11 years in prison. But with credit for time served, he has nearly eight-and-a-half years remaining behind bars. The charge was laid after 30-year-old Denny Jimmy was found dead after a single vehicle accident in Regina, on June 11th, 2019. Jimmy died from a fatal gunshot wound to the back.
