The construction of a new hospital in Yorkton is getting closer to reality.  

That’s according to Saskatchewan Health Minister Jeremy Cockrill, who has been visiting Yorkton for the past two days.

However, he says he can’t announce a timeline for the new hospital just yet.

Cockrill says the province has also made strides in attracting new health care professionals to the Parkland region.
