Additional supports for Ukraine have been announced by the Saskatchewan government.

100-thousand dollars is being donated by the province to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, while the Ukrainian flag will continue to fly indefinitely at the Legislature building.

The provincial government also stated that they will contact the federal government to advise them of Saskatchewan’s ability and willingness to accept Ukrainian refugees.

Of Saskatchewan’s population, roughly 15% can trace all or part of their ancestry to Ukraine.
