More Sanctions Against Russia/Belarus

Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister says our country is revoking Russia and Belarus’ “most favoured nation status” as trading partners, meaning they will be subjected to a 35 per cent tariff on their exports to Canada. When asked if the moves were impacting the Russian economy, Chrystia Freeland pointed to a 30% drop in the value of the Ruble and an increase of 20% in inflation as proof they were.
