The Swan Valley Stampeders wrapped up their regular season on Friday night with a 6-4 win over the visiting Virden Oil Capitals, their 9th straight win.19 year old Alex Walicki led the way for Swan with 2G 1A, while chipping in with singles were Adam Rajsigl, Jakob Jones, Darius Makse, and Myles Mason.
Dean Gorchynski, Roux Bazin, Davis Chorney and Nolan Wallace replied for the Oil Caps.
Loic Mainguy-Crepault earned his 10th win of the season in the Stamps’ goal making 22 stops.
The Stamps will now be off until they host Game 1 of the Best of 7 first round series on Friday night in Swan River, their opponent will either be the Dauphin Kings or OCN Blizzard.
