Another court appearance has been made by a man charged with numerous offences, including Attempted Murder, stemming from a violent crime spree in the Punnichy area in 2019.
29-year-old Derek Pasap remains in custody, and his trial by judge has been set for May 2nd, in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench.
The alleged incidents occurred over a two-day span in May 2019, when RCMP say a man was struck by a vehicle, then shot, on the Muskowekwan First Nation.
The next day, an altercation on the Piapot First Nation led to one victim being struck with a machete, and the other being chased to the Muscowpetung First Nation.
