The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal has heard the case of a former Yorkton gynecologist, convicted of sexually assaulting four patients. In August of 2018, 78-year-old Mohammed Haque was sentenced to 2-and-a-half years in prison, but has yet to serve a day behind bars. The judge also ordered that he provide a D-N-A sample, abide by a 10-year firearm prohibition, and be placed on the National Sex Offender Registry for the rest of his life. The matter was heard in Regina yesterday, but the Court reserved its decision.
