Melville RCMP are investigating a reported fraud. Someone claims to have received a call saying they were randomly selected, and had won a large sum of cash and a vehicle, but must send money to cover fees and taxes. Mounties say people should be vigilant, and never give financial information, like credit card numbers, over the phone. They also suggest simply hanging up.
