Truckers who participated in the “Freedom Convoy” will be in the Otthon area Saturday afternoon

The Otthon area will see between 10 and 20 truckers roll in tomorrow (Sat) afternoon.

Organizer Crystal Gerein says they’re drivers that took part in the “Freedom Convoy” in Ottawa.

Gerein says the truckers will have photos, videos, and souvenirs that they received while in Ottawa.

She says at 3 o’clock the drivers will get on a stage and share their stories, followed by an opportunity for the public to ask them questions.

“Unfortunately, a lot of the things that people are watching on the news isn’t exactly how it happened down there, so I just want people to come out and hear it from the truckers themselves, their experiences, what they dealt with.” Gerein said.

At 5:30 there will be a sausage and perogy supper, and the public is invited to attend.
