Justin Trudeau Moves To Help Businesses Financially Impacted By COVID-19

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government has announced the Canada Emergency Wage subsidy for businesses struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He says businesses who’s revenue has decreased by 30% are eligible, regardless of the number of employees. It will apply to non-profit organizations, charities and businesses large and small. For workers laid off because of the virus, the prime minister says the government will cover up to 75% of wages.
