Terriers’ swing deal with Notre Dame to acquire 20 year old Zawatsky

The Yorkton Terriers swung a deal on Saturday night with the Notre Dame Hounds to add some offence.

The Terriers acquired 20 year old local product Alec Zawatsky from the Notre Dame Hounds in exchange for a player development fee.

Zawatsky split last year with the WHL’s Swift Current Broncos and Moose Jaw Warriors where in 64 regular season games he compiled 14 goals, 14 assists for 28 points.

He last played in the SJHL during the 2017/18 season where with the Hounds he had 19 points in 14 games.
