Esterhazy Man Remains in Custody for a Trial Next Month on Numerous Charges

An Esterhazy man facing numerous charges, including a firearm offence, has been denied bail.
A bail hearing for 56-year-old John Churchill was held in Yorkton Provincial Court today (Tue), and he was remanded in custody for a trial in Esterhazy next month.
In June of 2018, RCMP responded to a complaint of a firearm being discharged in Yarbo, and Churchill was arrested last November.
He also faces a charge of Flight From Police, arising from an incident on May 20th, and charges of Uttering Threats, stemming from another incident on July 5th.
