Manitoba will begin offering a second booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Eligible residents for a second booster dose are all residents of personal care homes, anyone 70-and-older and any Indigenous resident 50-and-older.
The second booster dose will either by Pfizer or Moderna, and residents should get it at least six months after receiving their first booster shot.
Based on the timing of previous vaccine campaigns, the second booster shots could be available as early as mid-April.
