The Pas RCMP are investigating after a deceased individual was found in the town.

Yesterday afternoon (Mon), police received a report of a body found near the Saskatchewan River, located off of First Avenue East.

The deceased has not been identified, but it is believed to be related to an ongoing missing person investigation.

The cause of death has yet to be determined, as police await the results of the autopsy.
