An update on an active investigation into shots fired at a Hamiota residence.

Yellowhead RCMP located what is believed to be the suspect vehicle – a black or grey SUV that is possibly a Pontiac Torrent – but are still searching for the suspects.

On Tuesday (Apr. 5), Mounties were dispatched to the scene on 6th Street, after it was alleged that the suspects fired shots at the home from a vehicle, then fled the scene.

Two individuals were in the home at the time of the shooting, but neither were injured.
