A Regina man charged following a police chase near Balcarres, has admitted his guilt.
On March 22nd, Mounties got a call about a theft of gas and merchandise from a Fort Qu’Appelle Service Station, and the investigation revealed the vehicle had been stolen from Regina.
About 90 minutes later, police came across a suspicious vehicle on Highway 310, north of Balcarres, and tried to stop it, but the vehicle fled, and a spike belt had to be used.
28-year-old Thomas Chartrand was sentenced to 90 days in jail in Regina Provincial Court.
