Prime Minister Announces Changes to Wage Subsidy Program

More help is on the way for small business owners across the country.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says they’re loosening the regulations surrounding the federal wage subsidy program.
He says instead of having to prove their revenues have fallen by 30 percent, business owners must only demonstrate a 15 percent decline in revenue for the month of March to qualify.
Trudeau also announced the federal government will cover 100 percent of wages for students hired under the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
