The Dauphin RCMP are investigating after a fatal fire this (Wed) morning in Gilbert Plains.

They got the call around 7:45am, and when they arrived on scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

Upon further investigation, RCMP were informed by fire personnel that a body was found inside the residence.

The Office of the Fire Commissioner along with the RCMP continue their investigation.
