Yorkton mayor Bob Maloney is reassuring citizens their services will not be cut off if they can’t pay their bills, if they’ve been laid off due to the pandemic.
Maloney says municipal tax payments will be deferred from June to the end of September at the next council meeting.
The mayor reminds people this is a deferral, and the bills will still need to be paid.
