Three Parkland-area residents are being recognized for their actions by the Lieutenant Governor in Saskatoon tomorrow (Fri) by the Royal Canadian Humane Association.

RCMP Sergeant Meagan Stringfellow will be getting a Bronze Medal for bravery, while Robert Norberg and Dwayne Sallie will get Honorary Testimonial Certificates for their efforts in June 2017, after a truck skidded off highway 16 and rolled near Saltcoats, ejecting the driver.

Between them, they stopped a train heading toward the accident, and stayed with the driver until help arrived.
