A big event is coming up this Saturday night in Swan River, as the Swan Valley Sport Fish Enhancement Banquet will be taking over the curling rink.

Board member Duane Whyte says the event is back in full for 2023, with tickets still available, and he invites everyone to come and enjoy a great meal for a great cause, with the doors opening at 5 p.m.

Running alongside their current online auction, the evening features a fish fry, displays, games, boat raffle, and a live auction.

Whyte notes some of the other work done by the group, including youth fishing camps, stocking lakes, and the construction of a dock and lake access at West Watjask Lake, in the Duck Mountains.
