COVID-19 activity in Saskatchewan remained about the same the past week, compared to the previous week.
1,051 new cases of the virus were identified on 7,996 laboratory tests, reflecting a test positivity rate of 13%, slightly down from 13.2% the previous week.
The province also reported 16 confirmed outbreaks of the virus in long-term care and personal care homes, while there were 20 more deaths due to the virus.
So far, 85.7% of residents 5-and-older have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 80.7% are fully vaccinated.
