Two inmates who escaped from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary have been caught by Saskatoon police today (Sun).
RCMP said 20-year-old Jesse Favel and 19-year-old Noah Lemaigre-Elliot left the prison’s Riverbend Institution on foot between 8 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Friday (Oct. 4).
Favel is serving a 3-year sentence for an armed robbery at the 7/11 in Yorkton last August.
Correctional Service Canada is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
