Paws and Claws Kennels and the City of Melville will continue to work together to provide shelter for stray cats and dogs.
Both renewed a one year deal which kicked in October 1st and expires next September.
Mayor Walter Streelasky says if a stray pet happens to be owned, there is a way to go about getting them back.
The City pays Paw and Claws a retainer fee of $15-hundred and fees for provision of food, are supervision and shelter.
