A guilty plea has been entered by a man arrested following an assault on the White Bear First Nation.
In Yorkton Court yesterday, 21-year-old Keenan Lonechild was sentenced to 795 days in prison.
On October 5th, Carlyle RCMP responded to a 911 call at a home on the reserve, where they found a man with serious injuries.
The investigation determined that an altercation occurred between him and another man, and after a search of the area, Mounties located the suspect hiding in some bushes.
