The Estevan Bruins have captured their first Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League title in 23 years.

Playoff MVP Boston Bilous made 29 stops for shutout to lead the Bruins to a 2-0 win over the Flin Flon Bombers in Game 7 of the championship series from Affinity Place.

Kian Calder and Olivier Pouliot scored the goals for the Bruins.

Both teams will take part in the 2022 Centennial Cup, National Junior A championships that begins on May 19th in Estevan.
