A 4.82-billion dollar operating budget was approved by the Saskatchewan Health Authority for the 2023/24 fiscal year.

The budget includes 12.4-million dollars to address new and ongoing mental health initiatives, 27.3-million dollars for the health human resource strategy, and 39-million dollars for seniors’ care.

The SHA also approved a 314.7-million dollar capital expenditure plan.

This plan will see 208.43-million dollars for major projects, including in Yorkton and Grenfell.
