Town of Pelly Under Boil Water Advisory

The Town of Pelly is under a precautionary drinking water advisory. Officials say it’s due to one of the water hydrants breaking, so the advisory is on until repairs are complete. Residents can expect some discoloration of the water and all water should be boiled for at least one minute before using.

   It seems there were some idle hands over the Labour Day weekend in Yorkton. RCMP say sometime between September 1st and yesterday, someone tagged fences and vehicles with blue spray paint, causing significant damage. The incidents were on Sunset Drive and Haultain Avenue, and Mounties are asking anyone with information to call them or Crimestoppers.
