Saskatchewan Government Promising to Keep Budget on Track

Manitoba Agriculture reports harvest is running behind last year’s pace. Crop specialist Dane Froese says rain has limited harvest progress in the southwestern and northwestern regions. Across Manitoba, the spring wheat harvest is 45% complete, down from 70% at this time last year. Only 12% of canola has been harvested, and that’s down from 45% last year.

Esterhazy Man Facing Firearm Charges is Back in Custody

A new court date has set for an Esterhazy man, arrested last November on firearm charges In June of 2018, RCMP responded to a complaint of a firearm being discharged in Yarbo. 55-year-old John Churchill is also charged with Flight From Police, arising from an alleged incident on May 20th. Churchill’s matters were heard in Yorkton Provincial Court today (Wed), where he was remanded in custody for next Wednesday.
