A homicide is under investigation by the Russell RCMP. At about 12:30 this (Wed) morning, Mounties received a report of an assault on Highway 16, near the Russell Airport. A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital, but later died from his injuries. Major Crime Services has been called in to assist with the investigation.
